The Benefits of Yogic Breathing

Research shows that yogic breathing (pranayama) decreases stress, lowers blood pressure, and improves immunity. A new study published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine found that yoga breathing for just 20 minutes was able to lower stress-related markers of inflammation measured in the saliva. Even a few minutes a day can be enough to make a difference.
